Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system linking farmers directly with consumers. The New Wilmington Graziers and Gardeners are a group of Amish families in the New Wilmington area who are raising livestock on a natural, grass-based system.

Our farmers raise their products without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. They believe it is healthier for people and sustainable for the earth.

Here's a photo of my CSA share this week. It includes: broccoli, rhubarb, green onions, mescalun, peppermint, cilantro, and parsley, homemade butter, strawberry jelly and some homemade "cheese whiz" for dipping veggies or pretzels, eggs, cookies and some pansies.

We can't wait to try everything!

I had the chance to tell local readers what I think is important about buying local. Read the article about CSAs here.
Our CSA is by subscription only. Weekly deliveries will begin sometime in May and continue until fall.

Subscriptions are available for full shares, which are intended to feed 4 people and half shares, which are more than adequate for 1-2 people.

Cost for a subscription will remain the same as last season:

Full share-$500.00
Half share-$300.00

Members are expected to contribute to the workings of the CSA by picking up the weekly boxes at the grower at least one time.

Shares consist of a variety of about 6-8 different items of seasonal produce and/or other farm products.
